The eyebrow is an area of thick, delicate hairs above the eye that follows the shape of the lower margin of the brow ridges of some mammals. Their main function is hypothesized to prevent sweat, water, and other debris from falling down into the eye socket, but they are also important to human communication and facial expression. It is not uncommon for people – women in particular – to modify their eyebrows by means of hair addition, removal, makeup, tattoo, piercings or even dying.
Thick, thin, light or dark take your pic! Shaping, grooming and constantly maintaining your brows is a necessary practice in today’s world.
Try lightening your eyebrows for a fresh, softer look this spring. Buy a brand of hair dye that you trust (Loreal, Clairol, Dark & Lovely, etc) temporary, semi-permanent or permanent depending on how dark your eyebrows are and the look you’re going for you will need to choose the shade that is right for you. Be careful applying the mixture, use a Q-tip to gently dab the dye onto your brows. I left the dye on for about 8 minutes, then carefully washed it off. My brows were a shade lighter, not extremely noticeable but I saw the difference. I then waited 2 weeks to reapply the dye, the results were absolutely the shade I was looking to achieve. My brows are the perfect shade of auburn and I love them! You will still need to groom them as normal but, you’re look will definitely soften.
